I had an overall very positive experience renovating my 15-year-old resale condo with Cloud Creation, with Michael Chua as my Interior Designer. Since I only planned to stay in this unit for a few years, budget was an important consideration, and Michael genuinely tried his best to work within my budget while still delivering a quality result. The scope of work was quite extensive, including full hacking and complete redoing of the kitchen, bathrooms, and carpentry throughout the whole house. Despite this, the entire renovation was completed in just over 2 months, which I found impressively fast. What stood out most was Michael’s sense of responsibility and commitment. He made multiple trips down to the site to monitor progress personally and was always very responsive on WhatsApp whenever I had questions or needed updates. The electrician he recommended was also excellent and offered very good value for money compared to other electrical companies I had checked with. As with any renovation, there were some hiccups along the way, but no renovation is ever completely perfect. What mattered was that all issues were resolved amicably and professionally. My only minor gripe was with the painters, who accidentally painted over some unintended spots, including a few tiles. Overall, I am happy with the final result and satisfied with the experience. My total renovation spend was $54,073 (excluding electrical works), and I felt it was money well spent for the amount of work completed.

We found Derek from Cloud Creation through Qanvast, and working with him was a very pleasant and smooth experience from start to finish. Derek is very responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. Our unit is a 7-year resale flat, and he provided many practical and honest suggestions on which areas really needed renovation, which parts should be redone, and which could simply be touched up. What we appreciated most is that he never encouraged us to spend money on unnecessary or non-practical items. Another thing we were very impressed with is his speedy renovation coordination and efficiency. With his professional planning and strong project management, our renovation was completed in just 8 weeks, even with 1.5 weeks break during Chinese New Year. The whole process moved very smoothly and much faster than we expected. Derek also has a strong and reliable renovation team, including skilled carpenters, tilers, painters, plumbers, electricians, and other workers. The carpentry work and overall finishing were nicely done, and the workmanship quality is very good. Overall, we are very happy with our renovated home. Derek made the renovation process efficient, smooth, and stress-free, and we truly appreciate his dedication and fast coordination of the work.
