We are very happy to have engaged Joanna and Welfrey from Design Avenue. With a very strict time frame, they managed to compelete a 5-room HDB renovation in a month. (with BTO OCS opted in). Having stayed here for the past three months, no alarming concerns at all and all is good👍 We went for our first consultation already having some ideas, but they helped us put things in order and advised on which is more suitable from a design perspective. We showed them our reference photos and they made it happen, and were upfront on the costs and compromises we have to make if we needed/do not need something. Joanna was mainly in charge of carpentry works and she was patient to arrange multiple consultations to choose laminates. Also sent bigger laminates to our house to finalise the colours. There was open communication in a Whatsapp Group to ensure everyone was on the same page, which we appreciated. Welfrey was mostly in charge of electrical related works, among other works. He offered his input on the lighting in the house and designed our cove & down lights. He is friendly and knowledgable, and made the 3D design happen in real life too. Their project managment was excellent as they have a full in-house team for quick and efficient communication. Electrician also have sound feedback and suggestions to ensure our altar switch can be accessed from TV console itself. Both Joanna and Welfrey came down to oversee the renovation progress and provided timely updates and we are thankful for that. From having a detailed itemised quotatation, patient consultations, and excellent project management, we will definitely recommend others to Design Avenue. Thank you Joanna and Welfrey for making our vision come to life and for ensuring we were able to move into our home within 1 month!
