Had a really pleasant experience working with Serene for our home renovation journey. From the start, she was friendly, approachable, and very easy to communicate with. She took time to understand our preferences and was able to translate our ideas into practical design solutions. We especially appreciated her eye for aesthetics and how she guided us on material selections, colour combinations, and overall concept — it really helped bring everything together nicely. Throughout the process, she was responsive and supportive, whether it was answering our many questions, giving recommendations, or helping us think through different options. She also made the effort to follow up on site matters and coordinate where needed, which gave us more confidence as first-time homeowners. That said, there were times where she could be a bit forgetful or needed gentle reminders on certain items, but once prompted, she would quickly follow up and get things sorted. Overall, we’re happy with the experience and thankful for her efforts in helping us build our first home. Dylan from Design Direct has truly been a godsend for me as a first-time homeowner going through renovation. It’s rare to find a designer who is so patient, understanding, and professional—someone who genuinely listens, takes the time to understand my preferences, and thoughtfully shares his own ideas. Best of all, we had absolutely no communication issues throughout the process. What impressed me most was our very first meeting at my home. Dylan didn’t rush into design talk—instead, he carefully checked the condition of the walls and floor tiles to assess whether replacements were even necessary. That level of honesty and attention to detail really stood out. Another thoughtful touch was how he remembered my favorite color and made the effort to incorporate it into his proposed design. That personal attention meant a lot. With all of these positive experiences, choosing to go ahead with him felt natural—and even now, I’m so glad I made that decision 🤗 Despite tight timelines, the entire renovation—including painting—was completed in just 7 days, which made it feel almost like a Mission Impossible 🫣. But Dylan and Raymond went above and beyond to see everything through smoothly 👍🏼 Raymond also left a very strong impression on me with his trustworthy and dependable nature—something that was a huge bonus throughout this renovation journey. As a Project Manager, he showed incredible dedication and professionalism. I felt 100% confident that he would ensure everything was carried out smoothly and to a high standard. I've been living in my house for about 30 years, so it was time for a revamp. I shared my vision for a new look with Benjamin Travis. He did a site recce and came back within a few days with a design that instantly won me over. Ben is very considerate when it comes to his design. He’ll give you the best options and professional advice, but at the end of the day, you decide which one you like best. No pressure at all. He achieved things I didn't even think were possible — a showcase for my handbags, a shoe rack with a full-height mirror, a workstation cum vanity in my bedroom, and my personal favorite: a dry pantry in my kitchen area. Throughout the renovation, Ben was honest, friendly, approachable, and incredibly thoughtful. I would definitely and highly recommend him to anyone. We absolutely loved working with Serene, our ID. We just showed her a bit of Pinterest references and she designed them into a home that’s honestly even better than what we imagined. Our place is a 4-room BTO, so space is quite limited, but she designed it so thoughtfully and made every corner work beautifully. She was also incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. We often consulted her when choosing furniture to make sure everything matched the theme, and she even brought us to great shops to get our appliances and items for the house.
