I would like to give my heartfelt appreciation to Khalida for being such an amazing Interior Designer throughout one of the toughest periods of my life. My husband was admitted to the ICU when we received the keys to our new home, and he remained hospitalized for nearly five months. Managing hospital visits, caregiving, and a home renovation at the same time was overwhelming, but Khalida truly eased my stress and reassured me that everything would be taken care of. Most of our communication was done through WhatsApp because I was unable to attend regular meetings. Despite that, she made everything happen seamlessly. She took the time to understand what I wanted and also advised me on what was necessary and what wasn't, ensuring that our home would be practical and comfortable for my husband's recovery journey. We mainly communicated through WhatsApp calls and messages, and I only met her briefly twice before the renovation started to select tiles and discuss carpentry work. Even then, she patiently answered all my questions and addressed every concern, making me feel comfortable enough to entrust my home entirely to her. Throughout the renovation, I rarely had the opportunity to visit the house because I was fully occupied as my husband's caregiver. However, Khalida never failed to keep me updated. She would inform me who was working in the house, what tasks were being completed, and ensure that everything was done properly. She even took the initiative to inspect the house after the workers had finished each day. I honestly have no regrets choosing IDealogy and Khalida. What I appreciate most is that she never sugar-coated things just to make me feel better. Instead, she gave honest and practical advice while helping me achieve my dream home without unnecessary spending or overdoing the design. Thank you, Khalida, for your dedication, professionalism, and unwavering support during such a challenging time. You didn't just renovate my home—you gave me one less thing to worry about when I needed it most.

I had a good experience working with John Koh as my interior designer. He put in a lot of effort managing my renovation and ensured things were done efficiently. The whole renovation took about 3 months to complete, and overall the process was smooth. There were some hiccups along the way, but whenever issues were clarified, John would follow up and get them fixed promptly. It was good working together with him, and overall it was a pleasant and positive experience.

My husband & I always trusted Aiken for his ID & renovation services. He is our go to for both our previous & current new home. We consulted many diff IDs and even had a few come to our place for discussion prior to deciding which one to select for renovation of our 2nd home. But eventually he still came in 1st choice after his on site visit to our new place. His expertise & his meticulous attitude on all the unseen things that requires attention even before renovation even starts is what we couldn't find in any of the IDs that we've met. There were many things that we thought of that we want to do and were promised by many IDs who did on site meetings with us. All said yes. Can do. But for Aiken, he is very different. He managed to point out those things that we never thought of that might surface after Reno if we decided to go for certain Reno & designs. He was also meticulous enough to tell us small things that we did not notice at all. This was much needed for us. Cos we know unforeseen things does happen many times during a Reno process. And it might be too late to reverse or rectify once things are done or completed. Extra effort to source out tiles for us were definitely a plus point as our unit tilings were done up by HDB but there wasn't any spare tiles catered for damage or retiling during Reno. This additional effort really helped us alot!! Very grateful. Their carpentry work is always what we've commended to many who visits our home. My previous unit was bought over by a new buyer who came view & bought immediately cos all carpentry in my unit was in tip top condition after staying for 8.5yrs. It was a moved in condition unit. Not much wear & tear given I am someone who cooks & wash daily. Also want to give thanks to Eric too. He took effort to oversee the whole Reno procedure to ensure that we have no headaches. A very patient & well mannered person. This is our 2nd home that we have chosen them. And I know that if we ever moved again, Aiken will still be our choice again. Thank you ID.eology! You have given us a cosy comfortable home that we are very happy to live in!

Title: Avoid This Company at All Costs! Review: We trusted this company with our renovation at HDB Resale, and it turned into a complete nightmare. At first, everything looked promising — the designer Glendon smiled sweetly and promised everything would be perfect. Once we paid in full, everything changed. The kitchen was measured incorrectly, the cement base was uneven, and the kitchen cabinets started breaking apart within just three days of use. The carpentry was terribly crooked. The wrong wall colors were painted. Door frames were bigger than the doors, and one of the frames was shaking because it was never properly bolted."As shown in the photo, when the old door frame was removed by another company, there were no bolt holes. The frame had not been secured." When I asked to fix it, I was met with rudeness and mockery instead of responsibility. Later, when another company redid the door frames, they discovered not a single bolt was used to secure them — a serious safety hazard. Glendon never supervised the renovation process. We only saw him on Day 1 and at handover day. We had to visit the our hdb ourselves daily to check the disastrous progress. Even basic things like an electrical point for a heater were forgotten. The worst part was the attitude: Glendon spoke to us rudely and disrespectfully once he had all our money. Even my very calm husband was outraged. This company is unprofessional, careless, and full of excuses. They will never take responsibility for their mistakes — they will blame your walls, your doors, or anything else. Please, avoid them — they will destroy your renovation dreams and leave you with nothing but stress and regret.

We would like to give a big compliment and heartfelt thanks to our IDs, Ransell and John, for their outstanding service and dedication throughout our renovation journey. From the very beginning, they were extremely responsible, proactive, and well-organized. They always followed up closely on the schedule and kept us updated promptly, giving us great peace of mind. Whenever any defects were found, they immediately informed us, coordinated efficiently with the contractor, and ensured that all rectification works were done properly and to a high standard. They paid close attention to details and made sure the final outcome was neat, well-finished, and up to our expectations. I still rmb when we had just collected our BTO keys while I was expecting my second child, and we needed to move in before delivery. They were very understanding and supportive, especially knowing that my husband had to handle most of the renovation matters alone. They constantly assisted us, monitored the progress closely, and checked in with us regularly. Their care, responsibility, and genuine concern truly touched us. Thank you, Ransell and John, for your professionalism, patience, and hard work. We are extremely satisfied with the results and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy IDs.
