Not recommended. 1st: They never meet the timeline they suggest. They said they could complete the work before Christmas, but it ended up being finished in the second week of January. 2nd: They always turn down the customer's ideas. Anything you suggest is impossible because the salesperson (I won’t call him the ID) already has a standard template to make his job easier. 3rd: I asked for a quotation for a green wall and ended up receiving a quote from the salesperson that was almost 10 times higher ($13,000) than mine ($1,500), which I personally sourced. His reason was that it was too last minute. 4th: The quality and details of the workmanship were not up to standard. Not even a month, and my carpentry paint starts to peel off. 5th: They never complete the job on time and always come up with reasons to delay. The worst part is that the salesperson didn’t even bother to show up or engage a contractor to fix the problem. In the end, I had to take care of it myself. For example, the electrical wall outlet wasn’t provided at the end of the project after payment was made. I ended up chasing them to complete the work despite making full payment in January 2025. Zen only managed to give me the cover outlet (from a friend of his who is not even a contractor), and I had to install it myself. Unfortunately, the size of the cover outlet was different, and it didn’t fit the wall, resulting in damage, as shown in the attached photo.

One of our top 3 preferred interior design firms. Mervyn and Zen were patient and knowledgeable in explaining their renovation ideas and proposals to us. Although we did not proceed with them as we found another ID who better fit our expectations. Overall, the experience with 91 ID was positive, their budget and proposal were reasonable.
