I engaged Ben in 2023 for a simple and minimal renovation of my 2-room BTO flat, and from the start, he was incredibly helpful. He managed both the planning and execution seamlessly, and everything turned out beautifully—clean, smooth, and exactly as I envisioned. Unfortunately, just recently in late June 2025, when I returned home after being away for 2 weeks to find my vinyl flooring(which originally by HDB) badly damaged due to unexpected flooding. The culprit was a broken bidet hose that had leaked water throughout the entire flat, including the bedroom. I felt panicked and overwhelmed, especially with my mother scheduled to move in shortly after her hospital discharge to rest and recover. I immediately reached out to Ben for urgent help, and true to form, he responded swiftly and compassionately. He accommodated my request to restore the flooring as soon as possible and made sure it blended in perfectly. Within just a few working days, everything was redone — neatly and beautifully. The results were flawless, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Ben’s professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care stood out once again. I engaged the team at Simplicity Interiors to help me deal with a bathroom issue. My bathroom was leaking extensively and causing problems to the neighbour downstairs (water proofing was poorly done by the previous contractor)! Ben of Simplicity Interiors came to assess the problem, and advised that it would be best to redo the bathroom to solve the water leakage problem. He needed to do the waterproofing properly and thoroughly so that means I would have to hack the whole bathroom. Ben did a great job in coordinating with HDB to do the leak tests and so on. He also helped me redo the bathroom design (my old tiles were no longer available) so that it would fit in the rest of the decor. The job was completed on time. The workmanship was good - level tiles, water flowing to the outlet properly, straight line grout etc. He also went to paint the downstairs neighbour's ceiling FOC. I'm very happy with the work by Simplicity Contractor and have been a repeated customer ever since. Thank you!
